The project VEIA (Verteilte Entwicklung und Integration von Automotive-Produktlinien) was a research project within the Forschungsoffensive Software Engineering 2006. It started in May 2006 and ended in October 2008. The goal of the project was the development of a practical method for distributed engineering and integration of automotive product lines. The method should be based on concepts for product line engineering and be geared to concrete requirements of industrial development processes.
